Shipping Policy

1. Domestic Shipping (Nigeria)
All standard items ship within 2-3 business days of order confirmation.
Standard Shipping: 5-7 business days | Free
Express Shipping: 2-3 business days | ₦5,000
Next-Day Shipping: Available for Lagos, Abuja (₦8,000) | Same-day cutoff 12 PM WAT
2. International Shipping
We currently ship to select countries in West Africa and select international destinations:
- West Africa: Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Kenya (7-14 business days)
- Select Countries: USA, UK, EU (10-21 business days)
- Cost: Calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight
- Customs & Duties: Buyer's responsibility; collected upon delivery
3. Order Processing
- Orders placed Monday-Friday before 2 PM WAT ship the same day
- Orders placed after 2 PM ship the next business day
- Weekend and holiday orders ship the next business day
- Pre-orders ship after production is complete (see Pre-Order Policy)
4. Shipping Address Requirements
Please provide:
- Full recipient name and phone number
- Complete street address
- City, state/province, and postal code
- Clear delivery instructions if needed (e.g., apartment building access)
Incomplete addresses may delay shipping. NORDLUXE is not responsible for undeliverable packages due to incorrect address information.
5. Tracking Your Order
- Tracking number provided via email upon shipment
- Real-time tracking available through our partner couriers
- SMS updates sent at key milestones (processing, shipped, out for delivery, delivered)
- Track directly via courier websites using provided tracking number
6. Delivery Exceptions & Delays
Shipping delays may occur due to:
- Courier capacity or service disruptions
- Weather, natural disasters, or road conditions
- Customs clearance delays (international orders)
- Incomplete address information
- Security or authentication requirements
We will notify you of delays and provide updated delivery estimates when available.
7. Signature & Delivery Confirmation
High-value orders (over ₦500,000) require signature on delivery:
- Recipient must be present or authorize delivery to household member
- Photo evidence of delivery provided
- Delivery confirmation sent via email
8. Packaging & Unboxing
All NORDLUXE items are carefully packaged:
- Premium protective packaging to prevent damage
- White glove service available for high-value items (+₦3,000)
- Unboxing instructions included
- Sustainably sourced packaging materials used when possible
9. Risk of Loss
- Before Shipment: NORDLUXE assumes all risk
- After Shipment: Risk transfers to customer unless insurance is purchased
- Shipped Insured: NORDLUXE assumes risk up to declared value
- Delivery Confirmation: Upon receipt, customer assumes risk
10. Shipping Insurance
Optional insurance available at checkout:
- Cost: 1.5% of order value
- Coverage: Loss, theft, or damage during shipping
- Claims: Processed within 30 days with photographic evidence
- Claim Limit: Up to declared order value
11. Undeliverable Packages
If a package cannot be delivered:
- Courier will attempt 2-3 deliveries
- Notice left at address for collection at local depot
- Email notification sent with collection instructions
- Package held for 7 days before return to NORDLUXE
- Shipping costs non-refundable if delivery attempted
12. Returns Shipping
For returns (see Refund Policy):
- Customer arranges return shipping to provided address
- Tracked courier recommended (proof of delivery required)
- Return shipping cost borne by customer (unless item is defective)
- NORDLUXE provides prepaid return label for defective items
13. Shipping Costs
All prices displayed are final (shipping included where applicable). For orders without free shipping:
- Standard Shipping: Calculated by weight and destination
- Express Shipping: 50% premium over standard
- Next-Day Shipping: Fixed rate based on location
- International: Quoted at checkout
14. Special Requests & Handling
We can accommodate special shipping requests:
- Gift Wrapping: ₦2,000 | Includes personalized message if desired
- Fragile Handling: Priority care for delicate items (included)
- Scheduled Delivery: Request specific delivery date (subject to availability)
- Discreet Delivery: Unmarked packaging available upon request
